Labelled I-SITE in February 2017 during the second wave of the Investments for the Future Programme (Programme d’investissements d’avenir, PIA2), the Université Lille Nord-Europe (ULNE) project received an allocation of 500 million euros to support, over 10 years, the creation of the future major international university “Université Lille Nord-Europe”.
The project is based on the four following axes:
- Structure research
- Support pedagogical and digital innovation
- Accelerate recognition, the transfer of research and collaboration with business
- Increase international visibility and create a European campus
